Does anyone go to the Smile Care dentist office on E. Bidwell? Could you give me recommendations for dental and vision physicians?

I just read all the reviews about Smilecare...so I won't be going there...
My choices are (in Folsom) Smilecare, Radiant Smile, Ricardo Valentine Dds, or Gateway Dental. In El Dorado: Green Valley Dental. So if you have been to any of those please let me know your opinions.

Can't give you a recommend on those particular dentists, but for vision you might consider Dr. Shawn Palmer. I've also seen Thomas Jonas and have no complaints. Both have offices on East Bidwell.

Also, if you are looking to save a few bucks and have a Costco membership, you could go there. My wife uses their service, and hasn't had any problems.

As for dentists, stay away from Gateway! Bunch of hacks there. I had a crown and four onlays done (all at once, which was my first mistake!) there back in November of '05.

First of all, I spent SEVEN HOURS in the chair that day, because they messed up the first round of temporaries and had to do it all over again! I was in so much pain that it took 3 beers and 3 large shots of Maker's Mark on top of the Vicodin to feel good again!

Went back several times complaining of pain, headaches, you name it. They adjusted my bite several times, but to this day my teeth still aren't right! They would probably continue to adjust the bite, but I have no desire to go back there EVER!

So if anyone knows of a good, honest dentist in town, please let me know! We just got new dental insurance at work and I'm thinking of checking out someone mentioned above.....Ricardo Valentine. I think he's new in town and has an office in the business park right by California Family Fitness. If anyone has any experience with that office, please let me know!

Dr Djifroudi of Foothill Smiles. His office is located along Blue Ravine (near Tahoe Joe's). I had a crown replacement and they did it perfectly. The support staff is also nice. They use waterlase (supposedly pain-free) for fillings, which eliminates the need for sedation in children. 916-404-3200. Two doctors in this practice, but I have no experience with Dr. Sadri.

I am thinking about making an appointment with Ricardo Valentine? Does anyone have any experiences? I called his office 2 weeks ago and the message was referring back to July 4th. I wonder if they jusy don't update thier message or if the office was closed since 4th of July. My only other choices are Green Valley dental in El Dorado Hills and Smilecare.

STAY away from Dr. Valentine.....INMO Not only is he a jerk, he said I needed so much pseudo dental work that I'm still thinking to report him to the dental board. His staff, one crazy bitter lady is horrible. NOT only that, I know of someone who got novacaine and the shot went into the vein straight to the heart and he almost had to go to the emergency room.......He is rude, arrogant and he hurt my mouth during an examination.....He acutally said I had two cavities in my front teeth and when I called him on it, he said, oh well maybe not...C'mon....By the time I was done with his orders I thought I had the worst teeth in the world....GO to Dr. Judfruiti......I only had to get a few things done, compared to Dr. Valentine's 16 procedures...BTW, if he is out there, I don't have severe gum disease...
