Its by far the best bbq place in the entire region - the food is outstanding and the ambiance couldn't be better.
Its very well worth the drive but be aware, its not cheap (you get what you pay for).
It's just too bad its not closer to Folsom

Unfortunately, the website uses Yahoo directions and the first poster said it's not even close. Can you give me general directions?

For all that is holy man......, will ya just git on it an' open a decent BBQ place in Folsom!!! What's it going to take?
I am dying for some good Q. I was raised by a father that lived for good Q. He would take my brother and I (when we were just knee high) through downtown Oakland to Everett & Jones BBQ. He would always order the super hot sauce and sit at the bar sweating up a storm while he downed all three types of meat, potato salad and the ever present piece of Wonder Bread. God how I miss those days.

WOW !!! Now my man you are talkin' and walkin ' THE REAL DEAL !!! That is what I am laying down... to ya... it seems many of these kind folks have never experienced REAL BBq- the way is was meant to be. Just FYI we had a branch of Evrett&Jones right here in Sac. Town !!! Mary the owner was a sweetheart !!! for sure.. I do not really know what happened to them (sigh) Well at least for you my friend... have experienced some "down low" and made with love BBQ !!!!
