Just opened on 11/23, they say it's French/American Bistro cuisine. I'll have to give it a shot soon.

Website is currently a placeholder, but they say they're updating it soon:

We all know we can't eat there until Spicy rates it for us.

What work I have done I have done because it has been play. If it had been work I shouldn't have done it. Who was it who said, "Blessed is the man who has found his work"? Whoever it was he had the right idea in his mind. Mark you, he says his work--not somebody else's work. The work that is really a man's own work is play and not work at all. Cursed is the man who has found some other man's work and cannot lose it. When we talk about the great workers of the world we really mean the great players of the world. The fellows who groan and sweat under the weary load of toil that they bear never can hope to do anything great. How can they when their souls are in a ferment of revolt against the employment of their hands and brains? The product of slavery, intellectual or physical, can never be great.
Mark Twain

Oh crap! Does that mean that there are only 25 places to find Mexican/"mexican" food in Folsom, now?

Or did our old list not include the new taqueria that's up on Iron Point by/in the Best Buy shopping center? That opening and Cuevitas closing cancel each other out? Whew! if that's the case!
THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING MY GIRL.
We could not be doing this without you.
Much love and gratitude.

What information do you have to back that up? Why did Cuevitas close?

You should not be looking to open a restaurant in folsom if you cannot do $2500 in a day?

Many of the restaurants closed because of the POOR REVENUE and the inability to pay the bills especially the lease.

Typical known reasons given by business owners for closing down the business:
Illness: self or family
Partnership doesn’t workout
Owner moved away
Owner has another business

Examples:
Jennie's: illness (jennie:abdominal/stomach)
Cuevitas Mexican Bistro: family illness
Lieu's Chinese: family illness

Jennie openly told countless people (customers or not) a few months in advance the reason (Her problem with abdominal/stomach) for closing down her restaurant.

What she chooses to tell some people is her business; it doesn't make it your business to repeat it.

Also, your claim above is not true. When I saw in this forum that she was closing, I stopped in to talk with her. She was surprised that I knew and wanted to know how I found out. She said she had told one person (and named the person to me) and wasn't going to tell her patrons.
