OK another item I need to get rid of and I don't have much to go on

2003 I purchased this trumpet brand new for my son he played it for one semester quit never played again, the younger one decided this past fall to try it out so I had it cleaned and shined up he played it for two weeks and decided he didn't want to anymore

So I have it and want to sell it- the box says Bach nothing else in the box has serial # or anything-- I paid $350 in 2003 I just need to get rid of it so I will take $75 for it...

If interested let me know...

The Bach Brass website might be helpful in identifying the model of the trumpet you have.

A couple suggestions:

Nicholson's Music used to let people advertise on a bulletin board at the store; you could call and ask if they still do that.

If you can't sell the trumpet, you could consider donating it to a school music program or to the Sacramento Youth Symphony (which takes some musicians on scholarship, some of whom can't afford their own instruments).

Good luck!

That is what I am thinking I may see if Oak Chan needs it for next year, was hoping to recoup some of my expense if possible but donating is another option also going to have a garage sale too in a few weeks see what I get....

Trumpet is on my list of "I don't want my kid to play that, it is WAY too loud" !! laugh.gif

guitar = cool

Drums = well it is a cool instrument, so if he plays in the garage, then maybe...

Sax = maybe.... kinda loud still....

Piano = cool

not much else though.

Learning to play an electric with overdrive effects = not so cool.

Drums = well it is a cool instrument, so if he plays in the garage, then maybe...
Unless your garage is insulated with accoustic foam, everyone including your neighbors will be treated to a bad drumline

Sax = maybe.... kinda loud still....
The sounds of a beginner saxophonist and a dying Canada Goose are not dissimilar

Piano = cool
Would you like to hear "Heart and Soul" for 2 hours straight?

not much else though.

Although, the electric guitar and electric piano could be used with headphones (the greatest invention for families of aspiring musicians)

Yes exactly what I thought when the oldest started after 2 months he actually was ok then he decided he didn't want to play.. The younger one tried it for one week and decided not... Glad that is over but now I have this shiney trumpet... I will probably give it to the school with all these budget cuts maybe it will help someone...although I believe Music and Arts are the first things to be cut with budget cuts... I guess we shall see..

My oldest came home sad that his school has a beautiful pool that he can't use and we found out he probably won't get to play football on his field due to NO HOME STANDS ... He is the starting center for varsity Momma was looking forward to cowbells in our own stands.. boo hoo....another year at Praire City Stadium...
