Silverado Systems has been in Folsom since 2003. We cater to the professional Apple user (filmmakers and graphic designers, etc...) and don't do a whole lot of local marketing.
BUT! We sell to the public and are one of the best kept Apple secrets in the Folsom/EDH.
If you need Apple gear or support, come on by! We have one of the finest Apple-based video studios in Northern California and you'll be blown away by what people are doing with Apple these days...
Hope to see you stop by!

There is a lot of discussion on this site between Mac and PC users. This is the perfect site to advertise your services. You should contact the owner John and begin advertising on this site as soon as possible. I guarantee it will pay off for your business. Every advertiser on MyFolsom.com got 98,000 ad exposures in December 2007... for around $33. Compare that with other forms of advertising. I have provided you a link below:

Hope to see your ad on a banner soon, again welcome to MyFolsom.com and thanks for letting us know about your services.

Dan,
Any plans to upgrade the scoring at your place? Went to that Strikes place and it was really easy to keep score which I find an important part of bowling. Maybe Silverado can help you upgrade from the current DOS based system you have. Thanks.

actually Dan, I was being serious..... looking to get my daughter a Mac notebook
(and I'm still loving my iPhone)
I took the time earlier to check out their entire site - but it sounds like you haven't yet.... they sell very high end video solutions, starting at over 100g's, they do have some really great gear...and the best on the market for producing professional videos - I used to work with this type of gear for a company named Avid - look them up sometime.
but I couldn't find anything about basic equipment such as laptops or stand alone desktop systems.... thats why I asked. (it wasn't a darth type of comment, like I said, I was being serious)

thats what's so ironic..... and what Dan doesn't understand. I used Apple gear since the Apple II, I was the first on the block with a LISA, a Mac SE, a II, IIci, IIfx and so on...likely long before he ever knew Apple even made cool computers..
I've worked for years creating and supporting Mac networks, video systems and so on.. I just happen to work for a differnet company now
so you are absolutely correct, I am an apple lover at heart
and nobody will ever be able to pry my iphone outta my hands....

We sell everything Apple--from an iPod to a full HD film system. We have a lot of people walk off the street to get things like Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard, MacBooks, etc...
For info, Lakeside Church is a big client (also my home church) and we consulted and sold them their new digital signage system. Guess what? Its all Apple-based as it runs off Keynote.
We'd actually like to have more Folsom clients!
As J mentioned earlier, we have a production arm that produces RED media. Here is a link to our latest RED reel:
While we are involved in a lot of different areas, the Mac is the hub of everything we do.
