Isn't S. Lexington near Lakeside Church? I don't recall seeing apartment buildings around there?

There's a number of apartment buildings up and down Oak Avenue there, my apartment is just off the intersection of Oak Ave and Creekside for instance.

They must be farther down then were I was thinking at Lexington, one of my daughters friends lives there and I didn't recall ever seeing apartment buildings on Lexington where she lives

It's the two apartment complexes behind the workout place (can't recall which one) that's on the corner of Oak and Bidwell. If you go up Oak and turn left on South Lexington (instead of right like you would for the church), they're the two apartment complexes (200 So Lex is the first on the right, 180 So Lex is at the bottom of the hill).

These places show up regularly on the police logs....usually car burglaries and such.

East of Oak Ave, Homes only for many years.

West of Oak Ave, day care on the corner, & lots of apartments further back. Much more recent development than the homes that are "Lexington Hills"

ah ok now that makes sense - I have only turned right on Lexington and been down that side
