Heard thru the grapevine that Udipi Cafe of Rancho Cordova is open a branch in Folsom in the area across from Safeway this week...

Does anyone know which day exactly?

The Safeway on Prairie City? I did not see anything new going on, but I could have missed it. I noted that King Falafel is closed for remodeling? With a note on the door telling someone to" Not Change the locks" HHmmm whatever.

I also noted that a new Thai place is going in the former Express Gourmet location. It's name will be Krua Thai..... good luck I guess....

Also noted in my tour de Folsom was the fact that the Veracruz restaurant has closed again, probably for good this time. damn shame, good food at very reasonable prices...
Have a notable day !!!

I would be happy if it's true. We've been to the Udipi Cafe in Rancho Cordova, and it's fabulous.

It's a Vegetarian and mostly Vegan Indian Buffet....so I'm gonna go out on a limb, and judge by your user name you wouldn't like it as much as I do.

It's actually called Udupi.
