There is a vrad box close to my house (blue ravine and big valley). It actually isn't that close to my house, but when I walk by it I notice the fans are really loud inside it even when its 50 degrees outside. Its right next to a backyard of a house and I have to imagine that the family that lives there can hear the thing when they are in their backyard.

Why can't ATT bury the box or move it where there are no houses, for instance closer to Blue Ravine? Why as residence do we put up with this stuff. Maybe it only bothers me, but if some other company besides the phone company tried to do this they would be sued right and left or at least the city council would take notice of it.
