Found a young male chihuahua today in Empire Ranch neighborhood.

CHIHUAHUA has been reunited with his family.

Found a young male neutered chihuahua today in Empire Ranch neighborhood.
He doesn't have a ID chip and is not wearing a tag. Seems to be housebroken,
and friendly. I have posted signs throughout my neighborhood where he was
found. He's white with tan markings. Anyone know where he lives?

Yeah should have mentioned I found no positive id on craigslist either.
The attached links are not the chihuahua I found today.

Pictures would help whom? Yes I have pictures, but would prefer at this point to have
the dog's owner step up and claim the dog without giving a sweet little dog over to someone wrongfully claiming him. If someone has lost a young white male chihuahua recently, then I have put out information as best I can. If you are the rightful owner, then you can describe him without any visual clues. If someone has a neighbor or friend that is missing a very friendly young white chihuahua, please have them contact me. Otherwise, I would hate to think I might turn him over to some Vick wanna be.

Just an idea: You could call Folsom P.D. at 355-7230 and advise them that you have the dog, and they will take your name and phone number. Then when the owner calls (or, has already called...) they can hook you folks up. Also, they will advise the Animal Control Officer for Folsom, who will undoubtedly hear about the missing dog from the owner, and she will know to hook you up with the pups owner also. Good Luck, and thank you for taking care of him in the meantime

Thanks! Folsom PD keeps no pet lost and found logs. Already spoke with Cindy with Folsom Animal Control on Friday. She had no report of a missing chihuahua to date. She said she would log it and check with Sac Co. too. I filed a found dog report with Sac County already as well. This is a great little dog. Amazingly great. Housebroken, sweet and it is obvious someone has spent time making it a lovely indoor dog. Today I hope they get out and meet up with one of my signs, Animal Control, craigslist or here so I can reunite them and get this little guy home.

The owners of the chihuahua arrived home today and all have been reunited.
A very happy ending for all involved.
