Typically the restaurants listed here are recommended. Those that have not been listed yet means one of two things:
1) We haven't gotten to them yet
2) We haven't found a favorable review yet.
If you would like your restaurant reviewed, or would like to review for us, please email me at webmaster (at) myfolsom.com.

I'm sorry john, but I'm one of those that doesn't check out myfolsom.com, I go straight to the tomatopages. For online restaurant reviews, I use folsomliving.com

Bill, that site doesn't have very good reviews because its not an interactive site with any people on it like our site is.
You should become one of those that does check out myfolsom.com for restaurant reviews because we're working hard on building up that section here and would appreciate the input

I only read a few reviews but I'm not noticing a date for the review. How recent or old are these? It's also interesting that almost everything is 4 stars and above.

I just checked it out, and I find it can be a source for some good interesting info, I find I like the multiple diner reviews of folsomliving. It's more like this forum where everyone gets a chance to have their say.

1) here in our forums - the "unofficial" reviews. Chances are, the business you are looking for are already here. These reviews are not edited and are from everyone. Please add to this!
2) Our "official" reviews, like someone stated, are usually "good" reviews - meaning - if it's not listed, chances are we haven't found a favorable review yet and we don't want to bash the business.
You can also do reviews in our yellow pages, though I'm trying to find a better software to suit our needs. The one we have just doesn't cut it.

Well - any "official" review that give a place like BJ's a 5 star rating - for their "food" - isn't one I'd use to find restaurants. BJ's is fine to go out with the family and grab some processed - chain food - but there's no way it's a "5-star" restaurant.
Sorry . . .
