especially since he has never been banned... it is BS!! A few NEWBIES come, post a couple times, and mostly just to talk sh** and then leave, and then they claim there are complaints...

If you can't state situations, and just want to make general blanket statements then it is ALL BS.

I have been banned but I did my time and play nice now. Chris needs to manage his anger better that's all.

Well, I only brought you up because it was you that responded to Chris' post in the Tragic Death/Folsom PD thread.

I don't care one way or another, as we all know how I feel about censorship and banning, but I do think that asking him to leave, but not you, is a double standard. Just my opinion, of course.

For the record I was NOT outright asked to leave. It was heavily implied though. I know when I'm no longer welcome and now is the time for me to leave.

People need to grow up. I don't know that there is anyone on this forum that doesn't have a problem with someone else. Do all of us go tattling to the mods? No. It's called using the ignore function and/or being a grown up and moving on. Complaining about someone to the point where the mods say something is ridiculous. It's an internet forum, people.

I agree. This is kind of dumb. While I may disagree with a lot of what Chris says, I don't feel like he is a problem. Same with Darth, honestly.

It sounds like John's hand was forced, and that's a shame. It's just too bad people can't just get over it. I have two people on ignore that I can't stand. It works great.

The biggest problem really is this. Someone can send me a PM saying all kinds of stuff. I've had people threaten to come to my house, hurt my family, f%ck my wife, etc. I can't say a goddamn thing back to them without them running and crying to John who in turn assumes I'm the bad guy.

Maybe take a break...this kind of thing seems to come and go. Every now and then a bunch of BS goes down like this. It seems like it takes a while to equalize a bit. Once it does, and the trolls have had their fun, things are better - for a while.

I just wish I could understand why people come on here just to make trouble. I just DO NOT understand it. Very strange to me.

Okay everyone, typically we handle this via PM, but since Chris brought it up, here's the down-low:

Chris, I think in general you post a lot of good stuff here. However I think you also wear your pride on your sleeve and have a tendency to lose control of your emotions at times. I didn't ask you to leave but I did ask you to stop harassing people. I think it's a fair request. I've told many posters to "kick it down a notch" - some have, some have not. Those who did not are no longer here.

This goes for anyone - if anyone is harassing you via PM, please see me or steve and we will deal with the poster appropriately. Take the high road and do not respond - I do not ever want to see something escalate to a physical confrontation. We've never had an issue with anything like this and I hope we never will. However when I see something that concerns me I have to do something. This is beyond being a pain in the arse or calling names. Bullying will not be tolerated here. It's absolutely against the intention of this site.

Lastly, Jolene sums it up best - it's an internet forum... don't let a silly internet site raise your blood pressure. I know I may lose members this way but I didn't create this site to stress people out... just walk away if you have to, you won't be the first.
