Too bad, even though the Folsom location had some quality problems, I still liked the chain.
Does that now bring us closer to a ratio of 1 mexican restaurant per 100 residents?

I worried about this one, as the audience was diminishing over time from my observation.

Not that I like seeing places go out of business, but no heartfelt loss for me on this one.
I went to it several times as the wife kept on wanting to go there, but I found myself never being impressed with what I had ordered. I liked their salsa selection, but the tacos were always lacking. Eventually, the wife stopped wanting to go there as so often they would screw up her order.

I never went there, prefer La Fiesta instead
just sad to hear about places that don't make it, regardless the circumstances, that was several people's livelihood, now gone... meaning more folks have now joined the ranks of the unemployed.

I liked certain items on the menu, and I will kind of miss it. But in actuality, the last time I visited, I vowed not to come back to eat solo, the prices had gone up so much it was no longer worth it. I think it was about $12 for a burrito, guac+chips and a drink. My wife and I usually share the guac and drink, so that made it almost reasonable.

Now its interesting to see which one is next to fall off this bad economy cliff
a) Rubios
b) Chipotle
c) Dos Coyotes
All of the above seem very busy every time I go there.

The place next door on the corner, "King Falaffel" or whatever its called is always empty. I suspect it will shut down any day now

Dos Coyotes no way. They are always busy and have consistently good food. Eat there quite often...
