Tommy T's To Take Place Of Garbeau

Tommy Thomas will opening a Tommy Tís Comedy & Steakhouse location at the Nimbus Village Shopping Center in Rancho Cordova.
Thomas owns a venue of the same name in Pleasanton, which has been open for 30 years.
The 7,000-square-foot comedy club and restaurant will open in June. Tommy Tís will be open seven days a week and feature entertainment Wednesday through Monday. The 350-seat venue will present touring comedians Wednesday through Sundays, with an open mic night on Mondays.
Comedians Tony Roberts of BETís ďComic View,Ē Jay Lamont and SINBAD are scheduled to appear in June.
The soon-to-open comedy club for many years had been Garbeauís Dinner Theatre. The business shut down this year after falling behind in rent due to the recession.
Nimbus Village is at 12401 Folsom Blvd. and was formerly known as the Nimbus Winery.
The center is owned by Lakha Properties. The owner was represented by Ken Noack Jr. and Nicholas Richards of Grubb & Ellis.
