i'm updating post description as the cat came home tonight... WOO HOO!



We've lost our cat... we had to make a midnight run to Med 7 on Friday night and a screen door got left open, by accident. Our inside cat has gone on vacation and we'd like her back.

She is shy and probably will not approach people. Here is "Girlfriend's" description:

• she's a Manx kitty, no tail (don't mistake her for Noodle or Ashes, see below)
• she's very petite (looks like a small "teenage" cat)
• her fur is ALL BLACK* and is short
• her eyes are gold/yellow and one pupil that is an odd shape

* Please don't mistake "Girlfriend" with our other cats as we have two Manx kitties who are home safe and waiting for "Girlfriend's" return:

"Ashes" - grey Manx, with three legs -or-
"Noodle" - large tortiseshell (spotted) Manx who is super-duper friendly

The thought of her being out, scared and hungry is keeping me up at night. I will be calling local vetrinarian offices and pet stores first thing tomorrow.

If you spot her, please let me know asap. Your helpful response is appreciated.

Our little kitty came home tonight... I saw her zip across the backyard and it took about 1 hour to convince her that it was safe to come back into the house. I told ya' she is shy.

I'm sure she's hungry and it will be interesting to see whether she's snuggley at bed time.

P.S. Tonight I will update Craig's list posting and tomorrow I will contact Petco, PetSmart (2) and contact the vets to have posters removed. I'm delighted to say the least!

Wonderful news to hear your cat came home. My cat (indoor only) escaped a week ago yesterday. Thankfully I realized after just an hour. Took about an hour scouring the neighborhood at 2am to find him. He is the mosty cuddly kitty...why did he think life outside was better?

Because cats are dumb. We have a whole made up song about it, that we sing almost daily.

Little known fact: Cats are also mostly Jewish.
