So he was waiting on trial for one set of crimes and got busted for several more...I hope he's not one of the "early release" candidates. Lock em up!

Knock it off, you goof. beehive.gif

I'm glad they got him. Kinda scary he was armed and could have surprised someone at home.

Kudos to the diligent resident who called Folsom PD due to the Reverse-911 call. It's good to know all of your neighbors, and call police when your Spidey-sense is tingling...

I wonder what he was doing and what time it was when the first neighborh noticed this dude driving in their hood up there in ARCN.... and then he was so suspicious that a 2nd neighbor noticed him too...

The report said he was driving an SUV... I wonder if it had some "trick" or "pimp short" wheels that well... looked out of place when he was slowly driving down the the street looking for a vacant house...

This is what cops are for...

huh--they mention the phone call to local residents about burglaries--and a reverse 911.

I never got a call about burglaries---I actually thought Maxine was trumping that (sorry, Maxine)

What exactly is a reverse 911?

Holy crap. I was wondering what the lights were for. This one was far too close to my house. Thankyou neighbours for keeping a diligent eye out! And another job well done for Folsom PD!

I know several families that live in that area.

Glad that someone was paying attention.

Kinda like re-inventing the wheel--the idea that neighbors are looking out for each other.

I don't have a problem giving kudos, when deserved.

I've said over and over--I don't hate the FPD.

Don't know why everyone thinks I do.

I just feel strongly that somethings are not what they always appear to be.

The 911 system calls a specific area with a recorded message.

So, if you don't use a land line--you won't get that phone call: right?

Most probably not... I believe the system roles out to hard wire phones within the geo area chosen at the time. I'm going to ask those in the know about that though.... I'll get back to ya..
