Hi Neighbors,

We would like to paint the interior of our house and need your help in finding a good painter. Do any of you have a good painter to refer that does an excellent job at a reasonable cost?

For reference, our house is the "domaine" style, two story.

Any information would be appreciated.

We use Brush Strokes inc. who live and work here in Folsom. Their tel. is 294 9727. Small company, the guy who runs it quite often does the work too. Good with color and ideas and members of the chamber of commerce.

I would recommend Paul D. Seagraves Painting at 721-8121. I have used him numerous times and he is very reliable and reasonable.

Thanks for the referral on Seagraves. Actually, we called Brush Strokes, Mike Reed, as previously suggested. He is starting the painting project on Monday, 6/9. He presented good ideas on colors for different rooms throughout the house so we are eager to see our new walls. Will keep everyone posted on the quality of his work.

Hello to LoveGolf,

(See also our other message on Brush Strokes.) We were very happy with Mike's job on our house. After we put all the furniture back and hung up all the pictures and decorations, we felt we were living in a new house. So, we decided we needed the bedrooms done too. Mike is coming back in August to do the rest of the house. We have seen other paint jobs but feel Mike's work is superior.
