How about we have a $25 buy-in which is donated to charity. Then use chips and award the winner some gift certificate for dinner. Heck if we get enough players we can probably get some local vendor to donate the gift certificate. I've seen this done by some other organizations recently as a way to donate to charity...

Regarding the charity, how about this, whoever wins can do whatever they want with their money, if you want to give it to charity, cool. Unfortunately, poker is ALL ABOUT the action. If you take the money factor out, it's not poker any longer. Just my $.02. I'm down with playing either way.
