dang it!!! while big dip needed a face lift and remodeling, I wish it would have been a new tenant who was thinking more along the lines of Taylors Refreshers than yet another Mexican place.

bummer, I liked big dip, and there already is a mediocre mexican restaurant located there right across the street (so azteca).

The place does need some major re-beautification, but I think a non-chain burger joint could do pretty good there if they cleaned it up, and marketed it properly. Made it like a burger version of the Urban dog & sausage joint.

yeah, I agree, when the only cooking method in the place is deep-frying, it's a deep fry hut, not a seafood hut, even if the only meat is a variety of seafood.

I'll bet they were avoiding the ADA trap you fall into once you start making improvments.
