This is our first Halloween in the Natoma Station neighborhood. I just bought a bag of candy at Costco, 150 pieces. Is that going to be enough?

I suppose it mainly depends on how many pieces you hand out to each kid. In the 5 years I've lived on Orange Blossom I've never stayed home to hand out the candy. I'm always out pounding the pavement with the little ones. Judging by how many people I usually see out in the neighborhood I'd say you're probably ok though.....
BTW, Welcome to Natoma Station!

Pretty slim crowd in the apartments.

It really depends upon your neighborhood. We've had as many as 160 and as low as just under a 100 once.

On Hopfield we've had a bag-and-a-half of the Sam's Club candy bag--about 200 or so, and a couple of years where we did only half of one. We've had an influx of familes with kids, and I think there are more of the tweens and little ones this year than in several previous--judging from the crowds that came out to see the fire last week....One bag that size should be fine...I'd keep a couple smaller bags of my own favorites--just in case. That way when the trick-or-treaters are done, I have a few goodies for myself--or an emergency for the bigger crowds.
Happy Halloween!! And Welcome to the neighborhood!

Thanks, that was very helpful. We usually end up getting rid of some of the candy my kids bring home, so I don't need to stash any away. They are pretty good about sharing.

don't forget there is trick-or-treating on Sutter Street this Saturday from noon to 3 pm! that is always a hoot. Those kids are even cuter in their costumes in the daylight! Lots of adults dress up too. Love it!
in fact, they deserves a separate post!
