Oh Man, that red rare steak on their main page has me drooling, cooked to perfection.

Now to complain, how come there's no lobster on the kid's menu.
My son would love the main course twin maine lobster tails, garlic taters and asparagus, but he's a kid and only needs one lobster tail. Maybe they'll offer a reduced price special request, one lobster tail, kid size scoop of garlic mashed taters, and the regular amount of asparagus. biggrin.gif

Does anyone know if this is going to be on the ground floor or top floor. Guess there will be an elevator if not the ground floor. We will be checking it out but there has to be fish too or my wife won't go. She will not eat steak.

I know I saw Halibut on the menu.

Here it is:

Hazelnut-Crusted Halibut with Brown Butter Sauce, Sugar Snap Peas and Garlic Mashed Potatoes

OK, I figured it out, instead of ordering a side lobster tail for myself, I'll just take one from my son's plate to add to the 6 oz "mignon" I'll order. biggrin.gif eat.gif

Yeah, I hear ya, I like to joke that I want mine to moo when I stick it with a fork.

I have this bad habit when cutting up steak for beef jerky or for beef stroganoff, some of the small pieces never make it into the dehydrator or the frying pan. eat.gif mmm mmm good

ya know what's funny, I really don't care that much for sushi, raw fish seems yuck to me, but raw lean beef is yummy, I won't do raw hamburger, too much fat makes it yucky.

Actually there's another, better reason to not eat hamburgers that are not cooked through: E-Coli.

When you prepare a hunk of meat (e.g., steak), any E-Coli that might have contaminated the meat is on the outside; therefore when you cook it you kill the E-Coli.

However, when meat is ground up, any E-Coli that might be present is now mixed into all parts of the meat; therefore, if you do not allow the burger to come to an inside temp of 150 degrees for a minimum of one minute you run the risk of eating E-Coli.

I used to enjoy my burgers medium rare until I discovered the above. Not any more.

When I was a kid, my dad would eat raw hamburger with salt while he was preparing burgers for the grill. Yuck!
