I saw an injured Long Haired Tiger Striped Tabby crossing the street while driving down Willow Creek Drive this morning about 7am . He/She was limping pretty badly and crossing the street very slowly. He/She stopped in front of the mailbox on the right hand side of the street.

I was coming from McFarland towards Flower.

Just an FYI to anyone that has a kitty with that description. I think your kitty needs help.

I wanted to stop to check him/her out but couldn't. So sorry.

Ok, I just saw the same cat again tonight.... Still limping. This time I stopped to try to check it out. Wouldn't let me get close enough.. I'm going to try to knock on some doors tomorrow before it gets dark. Do you think Cindy Walden could help??

Yes, Cindy would be able to help if she recieved a call from the owner looking for their cat. Also try Blue Ravine Animal Hospital or other surrounding vet clinics to see if any one has called in a missing kitty.
Good for you for trying to help the poor kitty out.............

if th ekitty is hurt, it be having a hard time trying to get food.

I wonder if a cat trap with some yummy bait would work?

I agree with the cat trap idea. Once you can trap it, you can take it to Blue Ravine Hospital. In fact they may have a trap you can borrow. Maybe one of the neighbors on Willow can keep an eye out too.

I like that idea too (thanks to both of you) - seemed to be skittish around people (but cats are like that!). I'm going to drive by on the way home and knock on a few doors to see if anyone can identify the cat and it's owner. I guess I'm a bit afraid someone will tell me (Yah, I know he/she is injured so what..... it's none of your business). But I gotta try to help.
We will see what happens.

Well, if someone tells you that, then you really ought to call Cindy Walden!
