Epicurious has a great (and free) app for the iPhone and their website is a must for recipes and other culinary ideas and news but they have a cool tool. This one is for locavores or those who want to know what is fresh in their area.

I'm not, and I don't want to see their monthly bills either.
I would rather be Backpacking

You would if you lived in my house, unless you like real slow data downloads.
Trust me, the Verizon dude, and his equivalents at Sprint and AT&T Wireless never came to my house to say "Can you hear me now?"

Trust me, not in my house.
Datarate varies based on signal to noise ratio.
I know in real weak signal strength areas where voice communications are impossible, data only communications are still possible as the datarate drops below the minimum required to handle voice. So while you may still get data to work from inside my house, it won't be at the same screaming rate you get in your house.
Believe me.
I would rather be Backpacking
