It doesn't render well. It kind of smashes into the left side of the screen. I tried it on IE and Firefox. Same thing.

When I switch back and forth between the two PNGs, not everything is aligned... The banner ads are sometimes above, and sometimes below your purple strip ad, and the red text on the right for the 'other' forums don't line up in the same spot. Also, one says Tomato Pages, and the other Tomato Pages Network, only one of them has a gradient to mark off the side banner, etc. Those little inconsistencies drive me nuts when I'm looking at a website as a whole package.

These two versions look like they are built for mobile devices, the first one an iphone, the second one an ipad

The browser is scaling the image to fit the frame. On IE, click on the image (with the magnifying glass cursor).

important to note you're looking at images right now. One is really tall, and depending on your browser, will get scrunched unless you specify it.

The inconsistencies are just inconsistencies in the design stage - when it's done it will all use a global template. Though it's important to note, ads sometimes are more effective when it's not in a "normal" spot. Point taken though...

I could click on both views and it would expand to my screen like a normal site. Sure like the first one.

Another great  day in the adventure of exploration and sight.

I like it the way it is. Against change...
A VETERAN Whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve - is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America" for an amount "up to and including their life". That is HONOR, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it. -Author unknown-

change is inevitable and overdue. I have little choice in the matter as my blogging software is going bye-bye...

Too much scrolling IMHO (yes completed survey too from iPhone and PC with Firefox). I like how the Forum and key areas are placed in the top header but too much scrolling even for a 20" WS monitor.

I am all for the change. Recognize that when I visit myfolsom I immediately hit Forum and Todays New Topics because the rest of the page appears to be same -- I also know I am missing new articles or other content because of that habit.
