I live in the Parkway and had my van out on the driveway for 1 night. When I took my dogs for a walk the next morning I noticed that my MP "Support the Troops" magnet ribbon was removed from the back of my van. It was a specialty one that i purchased when my son graduated from basic training and MP training. He is overseas now and that magnet was important to me. Please ...I know it was different from others that are sold locally, but it was something special to me in support of MY SON. Please if you took it or see someone with an MP ribbon that does not belong to them. Please contact me or return it to me. Thank you and God Bless.

I'm sorry that happened to you, Sewingal. Unfortunately, I don't expect that you'll get the magnet back; the culprit has already demonstrated a lack of care and concern by taking it.
But, a woman can hope.........
Thank you and your son for his service to our country.

What's it look like? Sorry, I dunno what an MP ribbon looks like compared to others.

Some people just so, SUCK. This really gets to me.
Someone took the Ovarian Cancer one off my wife's car. Go figure.
People that will steal these will steal anything. They need to be in one of our finest jails for a few days.

A VETERAN
Whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve - is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America" for an amount "up to and including their life".
That is HONOR, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it.

Have you tried taping up a flyer in your car window while in the driveway? The thief might feel bad, and return it. Or they might egg your car instead. It's a risk I guess.

sewingal,
I'll be home on business in a few weeks. No guarantees about an "MP" support the troops, but I can see what's available here in the DC area. Feel free to send me your address and I'll either deliver or mail it when I arrive, depending on when I find it!
Tell your son thank you for his service.
