this looks like a lot of fun - it's coming to Folsom October 31. Military-style 5K/10K including a lot of mud!

Looks like a blast... Not much of a runner, but I might try it anyway.

The video of the LA one showed lots of walking, so my interest is piqued. I bet with a little practice I could build up my endurance (which is at level 0) enough to do the 5K. It really does look like a lot of fun.

Is there anyplace around where you could practice some of those obstacles? I've never belly crawled or hurdled before.

It does look really fun. Too bad they put it on the same day as Four Bridges Half Marathon. I'd like to do both... just not on the same day.

Folsom's Run with Nature is May 15th with a 10k/5k/Wild Way and kids 1/2 mile.

The Down and Dirty Mud Run is more military and looks like a dirty mess of fun, the Wild Way option looks like a cleaner family fun run/walk/obstacle course activity.

Hmmm.... looks interesting. I might do it if my schedule allows for it. October is waaaay too far out to commit now!

Looks like we have a Team MyFolsom - Me, Chad, Chris, Dave, ThinkingOutLoud, Ogre, anyone else?

PS, I'm only doing 5K... and I don't expect to be doing a ton of running!

Yep. It's not that long of a course. You'll be done way before it's dark out so you can clean off the mud and still go trick-or-treating:)

Count me in as a strong tentative. I am planning to participate as long as something else doesn't come up (which is only a slim chance).
