I hear Whitney Community Park has one of the largest play structures on the west coast... has anyone been there?

Yes - I've been there. It was the middle of winter, so the water features were off. I am not sure if it is worth the drive just for the park. I had an hour to use in the vacinity, so it made sense to find a good park for my youngest two. The enjoyed it quite well, but have never really mentioned about going back. If you are in the area - give it a try!

Yes! That place is awesome! Pack lunch/snack and you can easily spend the day there and wear out your kids--an yourself
