Just drove by Walmart and there's yellow tape, lots of police, and TV crews over by the entrance to the nursery section.

Anybody know what happened?

And the carnival is in town....hmmmm. I talked to worker at Chevron there by Walmart and he said it's terrible when they are around. Shoplifting, living in their bathrooms, etc.

Dang - I left the Walmart parking lot at 5pm tonight.
Must have just missed it (I'm very grateful for that).
I hope the employee is ok.

Hey Folsom use to be nice, but I guess we can expect problems like this now. Its seems that the down economy and the Light Rail are bringing more and more dirt baggs into town ! I just cant believe the city of Folsom is allowing all these problems to enter what use to be a family community ! Whats next home invasions ? Yeah maybe the police chief will approve more CCW's to Folsom citizens ! Just my two cents !

The Folsom Police Department has arrested a 13-year-old for the robbery and assault with a deadly weapon of a Walmart employee earlier today.

The parents of the juvenile reported to the Folsom Police Department that their son had confessed to the stabbing, and also was in possession of the weapon that was used.

The juvenile was arrested without incident.

Carnies? Out of town dirt bags arriving via light rail?

No, a 13 year old boy being raised right here in Folsom.
