Noticed a big 'coming soon' banner over the at the old Folsom Bistro place on Folsom-Auburn. It's going to be another Cocina Mexicana . I don't recall what the official name was. Talk about supersaturation of new Mexican places lately.

Maybe we should protest. No More Mexican Restaurants allowed, we have enough already!
And I like Mexican food.

But I also love Korean Food and we don't have a Korean Restaurant.
I really really would like to see a Korean Restaurant open up in town.
I would rather be Backpacking

valid points Bill but I believe the market should (and will) determine if Folsom can support this many Mexican or another other type (breakfast/lunch, steak, Italian etc).

Have wondered why there are so few Korean places. I heard you speak of one near here and I know of one off Bradshaw but that's about it.

I gotta say- we finally got some decent mediterranean food here. It would be great to get some eastern european or even brittish food. I would love to see an Indian fast food joint.

Spicy steamed or grilled veggies over rice. Yum.

Try Mylapore, it's Indian Vegetarian, not fast food, but served fairly fast.

Yeah, its nice.

But- not street faire (still better, healthier choices than typical american street foods).

One thing I really miss about travelling-

The street vendors. Mmmm......corn on cob on a stick in st. Louis.

Pot stickers in korea. Miso soup. Frozen fruit bars. Jerked calamari in spices.

Bratwurst sticks and grilled veggies in western north germany.

Stew bowls in eastern germany.

Tortas and menudo in new mexico.

Sopas in texas. (With homemade hot sauce or salsa)

Why is it that mexican food is so incredibly different in new mexico and teas than here?

All we need is another Mexican place. boo-hoo
A VETERAN Whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve - is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America" for an amount "up to and including their life". That is HONOR, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it. -Author unknown-

El Pueblo is the name on the sign. Noticed that Tuesday Morning had packed up and left that shopping center as well.

Why won't anyone open up an authentic Berzerkistani restaurant?

Seriously? Another Mexican place? Does anyone remember which topic we started counting them in? What are we up to now, 24 Mexican joints in this tiny town?

I believe we have one mexican restaurant for every 86 residents. Should we contact Guinness Book?

That would be true if you include all the smaller taquerias out there as well.

I think there's a coupon out there: "Open one, get to open a second one for half price!"

You can never have too many Mexican restaurants. Arizona may disagree.
