I know that attack ads aren't always the most accurate with their claims, so here's some of the facts about Whitman's attack ad on Brown.

Now can you fact check the unions adds FOR Brown and/or against Whitman?

You mean like this?....

Jerry Brown's column in the San Diego Union Tribune attempts to mislead voters by claiming to have cut taxes and created a surplus for California as Governor:

"The General Election hasn't even started yet and Governor Brown is already trying to re-write his record. The truth is Jerry Brown opposed the four billion dollar tax cuts and actually left the state with a budget deficit. It's no surprise that a politician who has been entrenched in Sacramento for decades is running from his record, but he can't expect to fool voters until November."

"When Proposition 13, The Landmark Property Tax Cut Initiative, Was Placed Before Voters In 1978, Then-Gov. Jerry Brown Appointed Himself As The Opposition's Point Man." (Dan Walters, "Jerry Brown Still Wears Old Flip-Flops," Scripps Howard News Service, 2/13/07)

When He Left The Governor's Office, The State Budget Deficit Was Over $1 Billion. "[In 1982,] The budget surplus had evaporated into a deficit of more than $1 billion and the state's general fund reserve had fallen from nearly $2 billion to zero. The unemployment rate, worsened by a national recession, had risen to a record high of 9.9 percent." (Jane Gross with Katherine Bishop, "The 1992 Campaign: Candidate's Record," The New York Times, 4/5/92)

here's my favorite...

Taking a page out of the playbook normally reserved for Glenn Beck, Jerry Brown, the Democratic nominee for California Governor (and a former governor himself), recently compared his opponent, former eBay CEO Meg Whitman, to a Nazi.

And not just any Nazi -- chief Nazi propagandist Joseph Goebbels.

Hey swmr, those of us that were alive when moonbeam was the Gov have nothing but bad memories of his tenure..... The damage this kook did back then is still haunting us.... Just check out the 700 plus killers we have enjoying "death row" out at San Quentin. The only thing I give him credit for is being able to convince Linda Rondstadt to be his girlfriend. That is his best accomplishment in life so far. At 72 he should be out on the golf course not adding to the democratic spending spree and giving what's left of our bankrupt state to the SEIU. Chris

I can't believe anyone in their right mind who was around back in the 70's when Brown was governor would even consider this bozo as a serious candidate...

we'll just get more lawsuits agains GM for global warming pollution... and when we have a "med-fly" investation like we did back when he was in charge he'd be like Obama and be indecisive because to poison and kill them would be bad for the enviroment... never mind the impact it would have had on the orchards in Santa Clara County where I lived at the time...

and then he takes credit for the tax cuts... after he got the memo about Prop 13...

he's just another commie lib... that likes to masquerade as a "moderate/conservative" to get elected...and just like the "Bamster" comes out like a commie when he gets elected...

but hey... vote who you want... and I'll be here to tell you I told you so...

Jerry Brown being governor of California at this time, would be disastrous.

We don't need a career politician to help California finish itself off.

We need a real conservative to help pull us back from the abyss.

Like the kind that will send our jobs overseas? Run our state into the ground? Not pay her taxes? Sign legislation that will exempt her from paying any taxes? Spend millions of dollars to get elected? Run a dirty campaign? That sort of conservative?

Sound about right.
