I went to Tres Agaves for dinner and thought I'd post a review. The restaurant itself was set up in a pleasant way although it was a bit loud. The tequila cabinet in the middle added to the ambiance and their specialty tequilas.
The chips and salsa were just ok. I personally wasn't very impressed.
The entrees were pricey for a Mexican food restaurant and even with it being a little more upscale, I thought the portions were small but taste was good. I got the braised beef tacos and thought they were tasty. It was just enough food.
The pitcher of margaritas was on the small side but they were good.
Overall, I think there are a lot of options when it comes to Mexican food and this wouldn't be my first choice. However, for a restaurant in The Fountains I thought it fit in well.
