My family is planning to move to Folsom this Oct but we have trouble looking for a right neighborhood with good school with our young elementaty kids. I read the forum about overflow school. Is it possible to enroll our kids in middle of school start in Oct/Nov?
I heard about asbestos in Empire Ranch but a lot of people told me not to worry about.

What do you think about Elliot Home? We are thinking of buying new house or foreclosure houses or rent an apartment first.

Does there has any nice apartment in Empire Ranch?

Thank you for your input.

I'm so sorry that I posted 4 times due to my network problem here. It kept timing me out so I refreshed it 4 times and now I got 4 identical posts. Sorry again.

Can someone show me how to delete my previous identical posts?

I live in an Elliott Home in the Broadstone community. No major issues at all. There are apartment homes in the area as well (Ashland Park ?).

Also, Gold Ridge Elementary is a wonderful school in Broadstone.

I live in Empire Ranch and we love it here. I would definately recommend it. Elliot homes are top notch and are always ranked as one of the highest quality home builders in the sacramento area. This is our second Elliot new home and both have been great. I wouldnt worry about asbestos. the only issues with it are really when doing the initial digging in the earth. The problem is heavily over-rated and poses more of an issue for the construction workers or if you lived on a dirt road from the research I have done (but I dont claim to be an expert). Off the top of my head I cant think of a single apartment complex in ER. The closest ones I can think of are in the broadstone area behind home depot. There are condos near the Russell Ranch elementry school but thats all privately owned unless you can find a rental of some sort. I cant comment on the public school as our daughter goes to Pheonix. Good luck in your search.
