Dude's pretty good actually! It's ironic (and the anchorwoman mentioned that too) how you'd never guess it from the kid's speaking voice or even how he looks.
That reminds me of the late 80s, when lots of people thought Rick Astley was black, lol. In a way I think singers like that have even better voices, because they can project differently than they normally would.
