I noticed that there was a small brush fire at Davies Park that burned up to the backyards on Feather falls.

Last week on our walk we came across some kids on Feather Falls setting off fireworks. I was blown away to find that their mom was there with them. When I told her that it was a stupid idea to light fireworks and illegal ones at that, she told me that they had some leftovers they were just getting rid of. As I turned the corner they started lighting more, so I called FPD -which they saw - and they quickly stopped and ran to clean up the evidence.

Makes me wonder if Mom was back to helping her kids get rid of more leftovers and thus a fire is started? At least it was aimed right back at their backyard, hopefully that scared some sense into them.

fireworks of anykind set off on any day other that July 4th is ILLEGAL in California! keep your eye out, parents could be liable for property damage and other fun legal stuff.
