Its good to hear that The City Of Folsom doesnt want pot shops in town !
I feel it would bring the wrong crowd into town ! We need more business growth and jobs here so the city can grow as a family community, not a party or drug city !

Since the city is taking the paranoid Puritan stance they should also ban alcohol and bars, we don't want lushes and drunks in our city. Alcohol is far worse than medicinal marijuana that requires a prescription (damn those evil cancer patients!) rolleyes.gif

Notice there is no Victorias Secret here either, they've been banned too by the prude overlords that control our city and what citizens can or can't do, even if they have a medicinal prescription. Is the religious right at it again making the rules?

Hate to break it to you, but Folsom is already a party/drug city.

Do you support bars and restaurants that serve alcohol?

Yes, because there are safe alchohol levels. There are none for pot (or crack, meth or other illicit drugs). As I said before people consume wine or beer because they enjoy it. People smoke pot just to get stoned.

There are numerous medical uses for marijuana. There is no medical use for alcohol. Any drug is dangerous in high levels (including tylenol) but alcohol is far more deadly than marijuana and causes far more crime even in small amounts.

That's the most ignorant un-educated post you've made yet, but then again you are a good representation of the paranoid Puritan religious right in this town. It's hilarious that you say alcohol is safe and people drink it to enjoy and not get a buzz wacko.gif

Do you only drink one beer (2 max to keep it safe) or drink non-alcoholic beer? Or are you just a hypocrite who talks negatively about subjects without any knowledge about it whatsoever? It can only be one or the other, let's hear it, if you can be honest with intelligence and integrity (I have my doubts).

Is smoking anything good for you ?

Please answer honestly and with integrity.

( I love also how you bring "religious right" into this since there are Dems on city council and also other dems in City fighting this )
