My wife & I went to Dominick's Deli in Folsom today for sandwiches and were quickly reminded what a great place this is. I used to stop by their Granite Bay location for food and take out before the Folsom Blvd. store went in where Mama Ann's was. The new place has more of a sports bar theme. Talked with Dominick for a few minutes who said that lunches were great, but dinners, take-out & weekends were a little slow. I guess that since it's not is a residential area, people (like me) don't think about it much when looking for take out or a pizza, but the food's great and I for one would like to see them stay for a long while. Just an unsolicited plug. No affiliation, just a healthy appetite for good food.

The pizzas are top drawer...folks are missing out if they don't try it for take away

I've had a few slices of pizza in-store there. I'm not crazy about their floppy crust, but the flavor is very good. My husband likes it better there than at Pronto Pizza (that also has slices) because there are more non-pizza options. (I prefer Pronto Pizza's actual pizza, but I don't mind Dominick's)The pizzas are top drawer...folks are missing out if they don't try it for take away

Everything I've had there is fabulous. The hot pastrami sandwich is superb, the pizza is great, even the rice balls are delicious.

Dominick's is the truth!
In the immortal words of Jean Paul Sartre, 'Au revoir, gopher'.
If you can dodge a wrench, you can dodge a ball.

Love their sandwiches (especially the hot pastrami) and sides but am not a big fan of their style of pizza. I'll take a big fat Ciros style pizza over that skinny stuff any day of the week.
