I know a lot of people are not fans of chain restaurants, but here are a few I wish would come to Folsom:

Panera
Boudin
Cabos
Chik-fil-A
Sonic
Cheesecake Factory

What about you?

Arbys
Dennys

We used to have an Arby's and a Denny's. They didn't survive.

I can't think of any chains I would really like to see come here, as I don't know of any chains that are Korean.

I really, really, really, want a Korean restaurant in town.
I would rather be Backpacking

No. Can't believe you are pining for factory food

Firehouse Subs.

For those not pining for chains, it looks like there is a restaurant going in where Visconti's used to be called "Sergio's."

This is funny as I was thinking about this while laying awake this morning and was going to put it on a topic.

Since they have now reduced prices my favorite chain to come to Folsom would be el Pollo Loco. Love their chicken with the tortillas and salsa. Have not tried their new entries yet- the beef offerings.

I have been to the one on Sunrise and used to eat there often ( actually take home) when I was living in San Jose.
I would even get their stuff for lunch when I hired day labor in SJ. They liked it as well.

Another great  day in the adventure of exploration and sight.

Yeah, it's a bummer when a place you like to eat at goes away. I've never been much of an Arby's fan, I'ld rather go to Togo's for a sandwich. Denny's isn't bad, but with Mel's diner in town, it satisfies the genre so I go to Mel's.
I would rather be Backpacking

Funny--I was thinking about Pollo Loco as well. I may be wrong, but it seems that their fare is a little healthier than some other Mexican food chains.

I would gain major poundage, but I would love to have a Lucille's. I really like the one in Rocklin. With the big porch. Don't tell my husband (who talks about opening a restaurant), but that would be one restaurant I would be tempted to open.

Panera!
I thought they were coming a few years ago.

Love their salads and sandwiches!

Really tired of LaBou and they've gone downhill the last few years. Why do we have two??
