A few of us noticed these in the neighborhoods. Anyone know what they are?

Not sure what that specific mysterious box is.
The other mysterious boxes that have two wire antennas sticking up on the top of lamp posts are for the PG&E smartmeters that record the readings from the gas meters in town.

Do you think it is part of a wifi system or DAS (Distributed Antenna System) to help with cell phone coverage?
