If you are interested in learning about a scheme that involves the City of Rancho Cordova and the Los Rios Community College District, read on!
A local property owner had a deal to sell his property for over $8 million to the community college and then the school pulled out. Then, only months later, the City of Rancho Cordova intervened and then threatened to use eminent domain to seize the property --- and offered the property owner some 50% less for the property so that they can sell it to the very same community college for a profit! Unbelievable?
Today, the property owner has a deal to build a major grocery store on the property that will create some 200 jobs. All this is threatened by eminent domain!
So far, this land grab has captured the attention of Ch. 13 “On the Money” and the nationally syndicated “Fox and Friends” show. To view TV video coverage of this outrageous example of eminent domain abuse visit www.calpropertyrights.com.
