My family and I were having breakfast in old town on Saturday and noticed a line of classic cars turning onto Sutter Street...

Turns out it was for Amrican Graffiti night hosted by the Cappuccino Cruisers, here's the news about the event from the Folsom Telegraph...

'American Graffiti' night to feature two of film's actors
If you're walking down Sutter Street this Saturday night and think you're having a flashback to "American Graffiti" — well, you are.

Courtesy of the Cappuccino Cruisers Classic Car Club, people will be able to see a number of classic roadsters, listen to old time rock n' roll and have a good time from 2 to 8 p.m.

Ray Marchese, the group's events director, said this is the second year of having a downtown event in Folsom.

"We're really looking forward to this year's event," Marchese said. "It's going to be a good one."

Great pics, davburr.

It was a beautiful day to hang out on Sutter Street, listen to live music, and see the cars. Glad it cooled down from that 108 degrees we had.

Man, I missed that!!!! Darn it!!!! I always seem to miss out on these things!

Really some sweet looking rides there! They don't make real quality cars like they used to, that's for sure. I love the REAL CHROME, you know, the kind that is heavy and tuff.

I used to have a '65 T-Bird that rode like a dream. I really loved driving that car! The only thing I didn't like was the lack of an air conditioner. But Man, driving that thing was so cool on a nice summer evening! Really sorry I sold that car. :(

When will this event happen again? I'd really like to go next time!

You can always go to the Red Robin/Strings parking lot and see the Cappucino Cruisers cars on Wednesday nights starting at 5:00 p.m.

I think the next event they have is in October for Cruisin' for Kids Sake at the Lowe's center in Citrus Heights.
