I've read that these outbreaks have been bad in places like NY. And wasn't Waterford that complex that had all the mold issues a few years back? I never thought of it as "upscale."

I saw a news report a week or so before this aired on Folsom about Bed bugs in the USA having been on the rise nationwide.
The news is reporting that bed bugs were nearly eliminated with the use of DDT, but now they are multiplying again.
I'm kinda worried about getting them now from a hotel and then bringing them home.
Yuck, or is it Ouch!

I worry about the same thing! And from what I've read, it happens to many people when they travel, then it costs hundreds of dollars to get them out of their house after they return home!
They even had a show on 20/20 (I think) that showed how to check for bed bugs on a hotel mattress. They leave small strains that look like dried blood....nice huh?
Funny, I grew up without even one case of head lice or ever having heard about anyone having bed bugs. Now it's like we've gone back into the 17th century. Where is our advanced society and why have we slid back into the stone ages?????
