I had an emergency one done several weeks ago and I swear ever since then I've had a dull pain (and sometimes not so dull pain) in my lower back area near where it was done. I've looked at several sites for side effects and haven't seen anything like I am experiencing. I don't know if it's just from regular activity or sleeping wrong or what but it's been lingering.
Anyone else have an experience like this? May be time to go see the doctor.

Call your doctor's office and ask to speak with the nurse, who may suggest that you go in to see your doctor. Better to be proactive and safe.

According to a number of websites (google "lower back pain after spinal tap' ) it is the second most common side effect of a spinal tap / lumbar puncture--
