Super sweet---I'm sure he is missed....
If he's kinda tubby, he may not be lost. He's just been put on a diet and is looking for someone who will fall for his "poor me" act and feed him. Just a possibility. If he's really lost, I hope you find his owners and it's really nice of you to be concerned.

Was he REALLY friendly? I lived in Steeplechase a few years ago and our neighbor across the street's cat went missing that fit that description. They took him in as a stray, and let him stay indoor/outdoor. He used to come around to everyone's house that lived nearby. He would come running over to you if you even glanced in his direction, demanding a pet. Then he would follow you into your house if you let him! Then he disappeared... sigh. I figured someone found him and made him an indoor-only kitty.
