So it's been a while since I had a girlfriend on Valentine's day and I want to take her out for a good time. I figure I could make reservations now and save the trouble of trying to make them the week before. The only catch is she has wilson's so she can't eat foods high in copper. Any advice on where I should take her? I was thinking maybe the sutter street steak house or tahoe joes? Do those sound nice or does that just sound like me being a guy and wanting a good steak?
I would say Sutter Street Steakhouse, they are amazing!

Well what types of food does she enjoy? So it's been a while since I had a girlfriend on Valentine's day and I want to take her out for a good time. I love Tahoe Joe's but I do not think that it is a fancy resturant. If she likes steak house type of resturants then I think those would be okay...

Not aware of copper in foods (hmmm have to look that up), but going to the great local (not chain) restaurants would be your best bet.

Scott's Seafood, Sutter Street Steakhouse, Sienna (EDH), Bidwell Street Bistro.

I agree, off the top of my head, I have never heard of some foods having more copper than others. And having tasted pennies, blech, I can't imagine copper being considered a flavor additive.
Avoid page 1 of this list
As for a suggestion, I would ask her. If she doesn't want to pick a place, ask her to pick the ethnicity of what she would like to eat.

"Wilson disease is a genetic disorder that prevents the body from getting rid of extra copper. A small amount of copper obtained from food is needed to stay healthy, but too much copper is poisonous. In Wilson disease, copper builds up in the liver, brain, eyes, and other organs. Over time, high copper levels can cause life-threatening organ damage."
Copper-rich foods include grains, nuts and seeds, organ meats such as liver and kidneys, shellfish, dried fruits, legume vegetables like string beans and potatoes, chicken, cocoa and chocolate.
Rickykicks, do you like to cook? You could make a nice romantic meal.

I think I will go for the Bidwell Street Bistro, I like supporting local stuff in Folsom or EDH.
I like the advice about Sherrie's Berries but I'm sure she can have a lot of chocolate.
So I was thinking of getting her a dozen roses (her name is rosemary so I was thinking of doing
something wacky with that) and trying to find some other sort of sweets that she can have.
I know it's over a month away but I want it to be the perfect day
