I sent the following email to Jeff John & the city manager Kerry Miller, and
info to the mayor and the city council members.
Subj: EMPIRE RANCH An H.C. ELLIOTT COMMUNITY sign
This sign is on the corner of Blue Ravine and Riley. It has
been there, I think, for at least 10 years. It is
quite an eyesore and I think it has served it's purpose.
Is there any way that sign can be taken down?

A VETERAN
Whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve - is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America" for an amount "up to and including their life".
That is HONOR, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it.

They're still selling homes though, so I am not sure why you have an issue.

Are there any Elliot homes near the corner of Blue Ravine and Riley? (I really don't know)
My take is that they should probably re-locate that sign to the corner of Iron Point and E. Bidwell where it would serve better to point out where Elliot Homes for sale are actually located (off Iron Point)

Camay, are you the person who hit this sign? I saw them removing it today.
I have a hard time deciphering the fine line between boredom and hunger.
