There has been no traffic on the Parkway forum for quite some time. Where did everyone go? Is there a more lively forum nobody told me about?

For a split second you actually had me going.... in a round about way, that is probably along the same lines of what you were implying.

Funny, I've become less active for the opposite reason. Endless discussion of the best Mexican restaurants, the worst drivers, and the need to pick up dog poop does not hold my interest.

Too bad we can't find the right balance of substantive discussion without abuse.

I set up a Parkway Yahoo group a very long time ago. Once in a rare while, a posting still crops up on it. Whenever that happens, I encourage folks to use this forum instead.

I love the forum for local news and knowledge. Though sometimes I wonder when the internet will be "complete" with all news and questions answered. You-know it's like now when I have a question the answer is always out there, no matter how weird a question or how local a question.

I agree with Sonny. Although I am a less active poster now, if something is happening in town -- i.e., I hear tons of sirens, or I know there is some school-related controversy -- this is the first place I come to get the scoop.

No, I occassionally look at the general forums too. It was specifically just The Parkway forum I was noticing the decrease in traffic.
