Glad to see Chick Fil A coming to town. I know it's a chain, but it reminds me of home (Atlanta).

I mentioned it on a couple other threads (Restaurants you want to see in Folsom) and it's happening. GOOD.

looks like it is taking over the Sonic development. It says across from Home Depot, but I am not sure where that means it will go exactly.

Yeah, it says that Sonic is no longer coming and that the site is being sold to Chick Fil A. I'm good with that.

We don't eat fast food but if we did, we wouldn't patronize them.

I just like their new ketchup packets. Finally someone got smart and made them hold more so you don't have to open tons of packets.

So sad - would MUCH rather have a Sonic than a chicken place. Never eaten there and no desire to do so. Not a political thing, just a preference.

Too bad Sonic couldn't go in where Willy's Burgers used to be in the Raley's center off of Riley.

I don't know anything about the company, but I like their chicken - for what it is. It is nearly impossible to get skinless chicken at KFC. I normally have to wait the extra 7-9 minutes for them to cook my chicken. Nice that it's fresh, but sad that they don't have many healthier options.

I wish we'd just get a good restaurant for a change. Not fast food. Oh well.

Never been to Chick Fil A... is it more like El Pollo Loco or KFC? I hope the former - El Pollo Loco is awesome.

their menu is southern based, from what I can see from the website. Looks like they do have chicken sandwiches that are grilled and around 450 calories. Also salads, etc. banana shakes, not so fat free.

Appears to be nothing like Pollo Loco- Now THAT is one fast food that I would go to if we had one ....

You can check out the Chick-fil-a menu at : http://chick-fil-a.com/Food/Menu

Another great  day in the adventure of exploration and sight.

Woohoo! I liked it when I lived in Florida. They opened locations in Roseville and Arden, but haven't been in those areas when looking for food.

Between Sonic and Chik-Fil-A, I'm glad it is the latter. Like pizza and Mexican food, we already have a ton of burger options around here. I agree that I'd rather see El Pollo Loco, though.

As for their political stance, we thankfully live in a country where they can have those beliefs and choose to suffer the consequences when people choose to not eat there. I personally don't care in most cases. If you really cared about spending your time and money based on corporate/owner political stances, you'd probably avoid half the products/stores you already patronize.
