So I'm over picking up dinner at another place and I see a big OPEN sign with people sitting in the outdoor patio at Burgerocity-it's in the next building by Chili's. I went in to get the menu and asked a staff member how long they had been open. Her response, "Two days, but it's been real slow." I told her , that's because no one knows you're open. So, now you know. We'll try it tomorrow. Give it a look yourself. (FYI, sure looks a lot like Smash Burger......)

I've been waiting for this place to open, their menu looks good. They say they use very good quality beef and ingredients and they have very good prices, their biggest burger is $5.99. Their menu also reminds me of 5 Guys Burgers, simple but very good.

I'll be going over to try them out for lunch tomorrow.

My Wife and I went to Burgerocity for Dinner on Tuesday and really enjoyed it. We really liked the fact that the burgers were fresh and not your average greasy burger. The meat was very high quality and they have additional toppings such as mushrooms, jalapenos, ranch, bbq sauce, to name a few and the toppings are all free so you can essentially create your own burger. We shared an order of fries which were enough for two people to split and they were also fresh and very tasty.

The staff was very nice and the restaurant is clean and comfortable and looks to have a nice area for outside dining. They also have hot dogs and sweet potato fries on the menu which we will be going back to try as well.

The location is a little bit tucked away behind Chilis on Iron Point but Burgerocity is a great addition to Folsom so hopefully enough of us give it a try to make it successful.

I went yesterday at lunch to check it out and had a good time, I like it, the burger was very good. Also saw myfolsmites Carnivore and C_Vanderveen there too, the place was packed.

Wrote about it on a food blog I'm working on, also posted a few photos, feel free to add comments about your experience.
Check it out at http://folsomfoodie....ed-burgerocity/

The misses wants to go check it out now so today we're going to stop by and try the Nuttyburger (vegetarian). It'll be interesting to see how she likes it, vegetarian burgers are tough to get right and sometimes they can be very bland. My bet is it's gonna be good.

Hey Chris, how would you compare this nutty burger with Sunflower's signature nutty burger?
Better than Sunflower's?
Figured it was just another damn pesticide and hormone filled burger place until you mentioned a nutty burger! :2thumbsup: :D:

Ahhhh! Disappoint! Jesse was excited to try it based on your review, Dave, so he went to get a To Go order tonight. Ordered three Bacon Cheeseburgers (my niece is in town) and the Bacon was missing on all three of them. Also, my niece ordered hers dry and they put everything on it anyway. The receipt shows charges for the burgers Jesse ordered, as well as the way he ordered them, but that's not what we got. I told him to call them, or at the very least, post to their Facebook wall.

Really disappointing.
THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING MY GIRL.
We could not be doing this without you.
Much love and gratitude.

Major bummer, I royally hate it when To-Go orders get screwed up and we're already back at home, nobody wants to drive back to a place to fix the restaurants screw up. Definitely let them know about that. Sorry it didn't work out.

It was great to see Dave B yesterday at bugerocity. kinda of reminded me of the 'ol burger tasting days.... but to be honest I think this is a very good burger.. made your way with any fixins' you like... fries are good also. My friend supplies them with their bread products and he has sampled all of the offerings long before they opened and told me about them. I sat with Dave as I ate my food and we both admitted we were still kind of burned out after the last "best burger in Folsom" episode we went through awhile back. but what the heck... never leave a burger to be rated unchecked... hehe.. Hey give it a try!! I think you'll like it..

My husband and I ate at Burgerocity for lunch over the weekend. We noted a few things: the burger was REALLY good, the order of sweet potato fries could have easily fed 3 and was also really good, the prices were surprisingly reasonable, the Ranch dressing is runny, the place was nearly empty, and although our order was correct, it seemed a couple other orders were being very graciously corrected by the young but pleasant employees. The owner (I assume) was walking around checking on patrons which is always nice to see. They obviously have a few bugs to work out, but incomparison to the bad service you see at veteran establishments, I'm not complaining at all. It's location may be its downfall, but I really hope this place makes it!
