Hi I am looking for a housekeeper in Folsom (Empire Ranch area) who is trustworthy and does a great job. Please let me know if anybody has any recommendations. Thank you!

I don't have a recommendation, but can say that I don't recommend Home Run Cleaning out of Roseville. A few months back I purchased a Living Social coupon for four hours of housecleaning from them. I called last week to redeem it. Voice mail picked up, so I left a message that I wanted to see if someone could come out this week and that I was interested in seeing how much it would cost for a once-a-month visit I received a call back but missed it. I called back, got VM again and no call back.

So I left another VM and mentioned that I hadn't received another return call. Jessica called me and left a message that I couldn't use the Living Social coupon for a few months because she can only take a few of them each month and still pay her bills. She said that she could offer me a $99 special and that she'd call me back with available times for Thursday and Friday. I haven't heard anything from her.

One, there was nothing in the "fine print" about limited scheduling and it's pretty darn hard to determine a time a few months in advance during which I'll be available. Her poor cash flow planning stinks for me. Two, I was specifically interested in setting up a continuous service so she has lost the opportunity for a few paid visits from me that could have happened in the space between now and when she wants me to redeem my coupon. Three, I've got a bad vibe and I'm only going to use my Living Social coupon and not repeated cleanings PLUS I'm not going to recommend them.

Bummer.
