It is saying something about if I see some person (can't understand description) to call 911

We live over in Lexington Hills and it sounds as though they are saying something about if you see someone in blue jeans with brown hair call 911.

I'm trying to understand overhead message as well. What I hear is "Attention on the ground... Tan jacket and blue jeans... Call 911"

I cannot understand the complete message either!

Over off Big Valley - Speaker was saying "Attention on the ground, be on the lookout for a white male with tan pants and a green shirt, if you see him call 911"?

Same here... hard to make out what it was saying beyond "Call 911". I'm right off Blue Ravine in Briggs Ranch and it circled for a good 10-15 minutes but has been gone now for about 5 or so. Nothing on any of the Sacramento news sites either.

I live off Goodell and the top of our street was blocked off for a little bit, but they just opened it back up

They were circling over the East Bidwell, Riley area about an hour earlier. Didn't hear any announcement, though, and no spotlight.

I thought we lived in a "sleepy suburb"....apparently NOT, I was awakened by helicopters telling me to call 911 (go figure).

someone posted on Facebook that it was an armed burglary on Bittercreek. They said they live a block away from it, but I am not sure how factual their information is.

I haven't been here in a while... was curious as to what the heck was going on last night... seemed like that helicopter was over my neigborhood for about 10-15 minutes... I live on Big Valley Rd...had my back yard lit up by the copter light... it got the dog barking...

what the heck was going on... did I read that right there was an armed robbery over on Bittercreek... that's like just down the street from me...

I called the Folsom Police and spoke with the dispatcher. She said that last night someone thought they saw a crime when in fact there was no crime.

Looks to have been a false alarm according to the police department.

Over off Big Valley - Speaker was saying "Attention on the ground, be on the lookout for a white male with tan pants and a green shirt, if you see him call 911"?

I received an email Saturday night from the Folsom Police Department that said:

Advisory: September 1st Sexual Battery Suspect
On September 1st, 2011 at approximately 4 p.m. the Folsom Police Department responded to a sexual battery which had just occurred on the bike trail to the rear of 1005 Blue Ravine Road. The suspect has been described as a white male, 45-50 years of age, approximately 6' tall and 185-200 pounds. The suspect was bald and had noticably crooked teeth.

Anyone with information regarding this suspect is requested to contact the Folsom Police Department anonymous tip line at (916) 930-1098 or at crimetip@folsom.ca.us
Contact Information:
Jason Browning
Office of the Chief of Police
916-930-1098
crimetip@folsom.ca.us

I wonder if there were looking for the same suspect...I know, it might be a stretch, but the timing of the email seems odd.
