In the past, it's always started at right around 6:00. Just be ready for the sirens for your signal to come outside. If you don't know your neighbors well, it's a great chance to meet them and socialize a bit.

If everyone arrives on time, they try to leave the police station by 5:20pm. Listen for the sirens.

They usually plan 3 rain out dates just in case of bad weather. They are usually the first 3 nights after the last route date. It wasn't noted, but they will be collecting can goods and unwrapped toys for the Christmas basket program and toy drive. These can be given to the volunteers behind Santa's Sleigh.

Due to the expansion of the city and not wanting to keep everyone up late, Santa and his helpers will only be stopping at the locations listed on the route.

Just a reminder, The Folsom Police Santa Sleigh project starts tonight! They will be in Empire Ranch. Listen for all the sirens and look for the lights.

It was great seeing Santa last night! I'm so glad the city still does this!

Ran into santa's motorcade last night out driving around looking at Christmas lights.

Well, not literally "ran into", but had to stop in the roadway waiting for him and his entourage to go by so we could proceed.

Looking forward to seeing him again in our neighborhood. This is a great tradition, I hope they never stop doing it.

Santa came through Broadstone tonight. And, we love this - last year was our first and we think this is a fantastic thing. So much, that I really hate to offer a criticism. However, this year they really booked through the stops near Gold Ridge, and they ignored one of the stops at Walden and Blough. We tried walking to catch up, but the stops were so brief. The two youngest in our group ended up crying.

I know it is partly our fault for not being there in advance and waiting in the cold. It is hard to time it all right.

Again, overall a wonderful thing. We just need to plan this better next year.
